I am so grateful to have been born and raised here in Chico, California. This unique community has been a great place to spend time with family and friends. Because my mother was in real estate and loved to buy and sell houses, I had an opportunity to attend four elementary schools in Chico. This was great because I had friends all over town. I graduated from PV High School in 1988, attended Butte College and Chico State and eventually made my way to USC….yes, I got out of town. I loved L.A., but its not Kansas. I really missed Chico, Bidwell Park, and just knowing the people in the community.
My husband, RJ Laffins, was also born and raised in Chico, California. RJ is a great support to me and loves the community as much as I do. He too enjoys the world of real estate. We have two dogs (golden retriever and yellow lab) Daisy and Bo who are spoiled beyond belief.
My experience stems from a young age. My mother, Julie Jeffries, began her real estate career in the late 70′s and was a true inspiration to me and many others. Another inspiration is my father, Charlie Carroll. He has been a local income property investor and for nearly 50 years. I guess you could say “its in the blood”.
I began my career at Century 21 Jeffries Lydon in 1992 as the the front desk secretary, then made my way up to Realtor assistant and eventually to full-time agent. In 2002, I obtained my brokers license, but have continued to serve as a Realtor. I love people! Ultimately, it is about relationships with people and making their journey of selling and buying homes all about them!
